Client Partnership Charter
As a social purpose business, we are passionate about caring for and protecting the people we recruit or employ for our clients. As a passionate purposeful business, we realise not all organisations will be a great match for working with us, and this document outlines some of the standards we expect of our partners.
Our PurposePeople Matter ∴ Do Good
Our MissionProviding dignity by matching people to jobs they love.
We believe that jobs people love to bring great dignity. And dignity comes from good paying, secure jobs where the person fits into the ethos of the team. We aim to match people to jobs they love, because when a person loves their job, they rave about it. Oh, and they are also more reliable, more productive and stay longer. |
Our partnership principals
The following principles outline how the organisations we love to work with operate. The list is not definitive, nor arbitrary, rather a guide for deciding if we will work well together.
- Increasing Goodness | No business is perfect, and we all are evolving, but the days of business being all about money and not caring about society are over. We desire to work with organisations who are committed to improving their social impact, to increasing goodness. Together we want to be good for our people, good for our communities, good for our planet.
- Values Driven | Our best partnerships happen when there is a natural overlap of values, and where our customers and us, live the values of our organisations in our day-to-day interactions. We desire to work with organisations who are committed to embedding their values throughout the organisation, including into contractors, or our onsite staff.
- Human Radicals | Human Resources is a dying term, but HR isn’t. We desire to work with organisations who are at the forefront of the new HR, who are what we describe as Human Radicals, where HR is not just about legal process, but where they are committed to amazing, safe, and inclusive workplaces.
- Dignity through Work | We desire to work with organisations who are passionate about all workers on their sites having dignity. A worker feeling like they have dignity in a job has many elements including being:
- Paid Well | The truth of the matter is people who are paid well stay longer. We believe that Minimum Wage may be a good entry level wage, but as people mature and gain experience it isn’t a great place to stay.
- Feel Secure | We prefer to work with organisations that can provide our staff with certainty, have rostered hours, and ideally who have permanent roles available in the future.
- Inclusive Environment | When workers don’t feel included, they don’t do their best work. Our customers partner with us to quash anything that makes our workers, or your staff feel uncomfortable.
- Kindness in Crisis | People get sick, have family issues, and generally struggle with life. We desire to work with companies that are kind in crisis. It’s not that we don’t expect a lot from our workers, we do, but when things are hard, our organisations should be kind.
- 100% Legal | We don’t want to work with any company that wants to shortcut the law. 100% conservative compliance to NZ law is a ticket to the game for us.
- Paid Well | The truth of the matter is people who are paid well stay longer. We believe that Minimum Wage may be a good entry level wage, but as people mature and gain experience it isn’t a great place to stay.
- Proactive Hiring | We are driven to make it faster and easier for Hiring Managers to find great people, and we love working with organisations that are:
- Fast Decision Makers | In tight labour markets we both loose great jobseekers if we don’t move fast enough. We want to assist Hiring Managers to make great decisions quickly, so that you get the people you need instead of your competition.
- Reducing Bias | As humans we are inherently biased. We desire to work with individuals and organisations who are prepared to put their biases to one side and learn to recruit people not like them.
- Positive Diversity | Some organisations have historically un-diverse teams. We love working with organisations to proactively increase diversity and inclusion in their workplaces.
- Provide Feedback | We want to get faster and easier. We don’t do that without feedback. We love candid and data driven feedback, as it helps us to be the fastest and easiest way for your team to find people you love.?
