Job Description

Our client is a large food manufacturer based in East Tamaki and needs Machine Operators to join their team. Working for this client will be a great experience - they work in a fast paced environment, and truly care about pushing their team to be their best and deliver high quality products.

We need talented, driven and motivated Machine Operators who want to devour this new challenge, hit the ground running with their skills and deliver amazing results!

Agoge gives you:
  • Up to $24p/h pending experience
  • Choice of two shifts (7am - 3pm OR 3pm - 11pm)
  • Based in East Tamaki
  • Employer Kiwisaver contributions

    Your responsibilities in this job:
  • Organise manufacturing line
  • Overseeing and controlling the machinery to deliver high quality products
  • Solve operating problems and escalate quickly if required
  • Sensory and visual quality assurance of finished products
  • Ensure production requirements and timeframes are met
  • Making adjustments to the production line
  • Supporting general manufacturing tasks including ingredients prep and product handling
  • Document and record data without error for audit and quality purposes

    What we need from you:
  • Minimum of 6 months Machine Operating experience
  • food production environment experience
  • Solid understanding of health & safety procedures within food production
  • You MUST be able to keep up with the fast paced environment
  • Be confident - if you see something wrong, we want you to speak up
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Keen to learn and not afraid to attempt new tasks in a supportive environment
  • Good work ethic and reliability
  • You also must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have a satisfactory criminal check.
