Job Description

We have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Helpdesk Analyst to support a newly formed team in a new call centre.

Our client works in the financial services sector with customers in the UK and China and needs an experienced IT Support Analyst to help keep their business performing!

    Key responsibilities
  • Complete server admin tasks - user/group, security permissions, maintaining system architecture, monitor event log
  • Provide IT support to internal colleagues and ensure quality and timely issue resolution
  • Create strong relationships with the IT Help Desk and other teams to provide technical support when required
  • Provide hardware and infrastructure support - install hardware and software ,deploy new laptops/ desktops, security updates, LAN/WANs, firewalls, printers

    To be considered you'll need
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role (Help desk / IT support / System Admin)
  • Knowledge of Unix
  • Good knowledge of programming and operating systems
  • Good knowledge of current technology trends and equipment
  • Experience working with backup and recovery procedures
  • Experience with system performance- monitoring, active directories and virtualization
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science is preferred but not essential to apply
  • Curious and tenacious attitude
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Good stakeholder management and adapting complex communication based on your audience
