In this role you will be reporting to and supporting the General Manager, responsible for helping  their day to day duties and making a name for yourself as an EA that keep control and cool even under pressure.

About the client:
  • Based in Wellington CBD

  • Collaborates across all areas of the Government 

    Your key responsibilities as EA:
  • Provide top class EA support through event and agenda management
  • Support Leadership in making decisions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and balance competing demands
  • Confident enough to make judgement or calculated-risk based decisions
  • Prepare documentation and minute meetings, following up when required
  • Manage all professional relationships with and on behalf of the General Manager
  • Deliver customer focused solutions which align to the strategy, and challenge instances of misalignment
  • Manage health and safety in the workplace and ensure risks are reported
  • Taking ownership and be accountable for results, prepare and pre-empt challenging situations

    About you:
  • 2+ years proven experience in a senior executive support role
  • Proven ability to gain influence and trust at a senior level
  • Credible and trustworthy
  • Wide range of knowledge using various admin systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with government bodies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Confident collaborator and influential with peers
  • Flexible to working within a dynamic and diverse environment
