Our client is a leader in transport services to the construction industry, and they are on the hunt for a new Operations Manager to join their leadership team as their Operations Manager based in Wiri.

In this pivotal role, you will be leading a team of 4 direct reports, as well as a fleet of drivers indirectly. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of financial budgeting and reporting, maintenance and providing technical expertise to the team and clients.

The position will start the beginning of April and you will complete a 4-week handover with the current Operations Manager before taking the reins and making your mark!

    Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overseeing technical aspects of project management
  • Financial responsibility
  • Ensuring fleet maintenance is kept up to date
  • Leading and motivating the team through enthusiasm

    To be successful you will need:
  • Strong leadership skills with experience at a similar level
  • 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry
    · Ideally crane experience/background or similar
  • Great communication and decision making
  • Owning accountability for your own and your team’s performance
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Drive to succeed and grow the business
