Role:

You'll be a switched-on individual who has a passion for machines and fixing them. You are a great communicator, manages your time well and has great problem solving skills. It is important that you recognise that you are the face of the business! Our service delivery is very important to us and our technicians play a vital part in this.

This role will be based at Christchurch branch in Sockburn Monday to Friday. The hours of work shall be 7:00 am till 4:30 pm with flexibility to meet the principle accountabilities of the role.

You shall be doing workshop repairs, mobile servicing and component rebuilds including:
  • Pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
  • Service, maintenance and repairs of hire fleet
  • EWP and Forklift servicing and repairs
  • Maintenance and repair of a wide range of external customer forklifts
  • Being on an on-call roster for machine breakdowns

    Key skills and qualifications:
  • A blend of electro-mechanical gained from forklifts, EWP, agricultural, cranes or earth moving equipment
  • Hydraulics and Auto electrical knowledge
  • Experience working on 24v – 48v Battery operated equipment
  • Mechanical Trade qualifications and Hire Industry experience would be favoured
  • Flexible and able to deal with how priorities change in the course of the day
