Job Description

Start today and you could be on track for a permanent role that will see your pay increase by 30%. All you need to do is prove your worth. You’ll be working for NZ’s largest grocery retailer as a voice picker. And, it’ll be busy.

What's on offer:

  • $22 p/h starting rate going up to $26/$27 after 6 months
  • Give you a full week of paid training – including Pallet Carrier Licence.
  • Supply a uniform.
  • Let you have a weekend day off each week (Potentially 2 if you choose afternoon shift!)

  • AM and PM shift available (5am - 1.30pm, Tues-Sat OR 3.30pm - 12am, Mon - Fri

    Using the voice picking system (headset and microphone) you’ll:

  • Pick the items.
  • Stack and rack onto pallets
  • Confirm actions via headset.
  • Deliver pallets to staging area.

    To do this you’ll need to:

  • Be physically fit – it is a physically demanding job. Some packages weigh up to 25kg.
  • Be punctual and willing to work weekends where needed
  • Be comfortable handling meat products and alcohol.
  • Ideally have some some experience working in a warehouse or factory environment

    You’ll need to have the legal right to work in New Zealand, pass a drug test and have a clean criminal history. Due to the shift-work you will need to have your own car and drivers licence.
