Job Description

We are seeking a flexible, multi skilled metal casting worker to join our Foundry! We need someone who is physically fit and who can work well in busy environments to meet our production demands.

Fraser Engineered Bronze have been in business for over 80 years! We know our industry well and are always discovering more innovative ways to do what we do best.

In this role you will be responsible for casting metal to create high quality copper alloy machinery parts that will then be sold and distributed across the globe.

Hours:

  • This role will operate under a 4x4 shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off)
  • Both day and night shifts are available – choose what suits you based on your out of work commitments and lifestyle.

  • The role will require you to:
  • Be physically fit and strong.
  • Work in a hot, dry environment
  • Have a strong eye for detail and the ability to deal to any defects or rejects in the casting process.
  • Be trusted to work unsupervised.
  • Have great reliability and attendance.

    The perfect candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing (Industrial or factory)
  • Some experience in metal casting would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Reliability and a good work ethic
  • A “can do” and proactive attitude.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
