Our production demands are high which means we need high energy, passionate people to join our awesome team. We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator who will be working out of our Middleton based premises in our machined components department.

Hours of work:

    The role will require you to:

  • Have a great eye for detail.
  • Set up sheet and route production sheet based on engineering drawings.
  • Have a relentless focus on producing high quality work.
  • Operate and set up CNC machinery unsupervised and work independently.
  • Use correct tools, gauging and machine stops to execute work correctly.
  • Ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Ensure rejects are identified and dealt with accordingly.
  • Have superb reliability and attendance.

    To be the perfect fit for this role you will bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a CNC lathes or machining centers (Experience with okuma lathes would be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing (Either industrial or factory environment)
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Ability to take initiative and a positive approach towards your work.
