Job Description

We need reliable Voice Pickers to join one a large distribution centre in Hornby! We have multiple roles available starting over the next month with day and night shift available. We will consider those who are available for an immediate start on are can start during the month of July.

Our ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 months of experience voice picking or picking onto a pallet carrier.

These roles are ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent after 6 months. The starting rate is $22 per hour and moving up to $27 for the right candidate over the course of 12 months.

The hours are:

  • Sunday - Thursday (5am - 1.30pm)
  • Sunday - Thursday (3pm - 11pm)
  • Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 5am)

    The role:

  • Driving a pallet-carrier machine (full training given)
  • Voice picking products from the warehouse
  • Achieving targets – pick rates, accuracy, attendance
  • You must be able to handle all meat products including pork

    To be successful:

  • MUST be physically strong and have a lot of stamina to be lifting heavy loads THROUGHOUT the shift
  • Have reliable transport with Full or Restricted Licence
  • Available for the mentioned shift times with some flexibility during busy periods
  • Excellent punctuality & attendance
  • Forklift license would be a bonus
  • Pass pre-employment checks including drug testing & criminal history
